Puff Pastry Apple rings

prep time 15 minutes, baking time 20 minutes

This Puff pastry Apple rings made with a cinnamon-flavored apple ring, wrapped in crispy and flaky puff pastry.


  • 3 apples
  • 1 package Puff pastry dough 1 b
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1tbs sugar( I used Monk fruit)
  •  1tbsp powder sugar


  1. Pre heat oven to 400 F
  2. Peel the apple ,  and cut into thin slices.  Use cookie 1 1/2 inch cutter to cut circle in the middle of apple forming the ring

        3.Roll out puff pastry sheet with a rolling pin. Don’t make it too thin though.
         4.Cut the puff pastry into ¾ inch strips.

          5. Mix the cinnamon, sugar in the dish

  1. Pat the apple slices dry with a paper towel and dust them with a bit of cinnamon sugar.

7. Wrap strips of the puff pastry (3-4 strips/apple ring) around each apple ring.

8.  Brush the wrapped apple rings with egg wash on both sides. Place apple rings on the baking sheet

9. Bake at 400° for 20-25 minutes until puff pastry is flaky and light golden brown.

10. Take baked apple rings out of oven , let it cool.

11. Sprinkle puff pastry apple rings with powdered sugar , serve
