Puff Pastry Cherry tartlets

Prep time 15 minutes, baking time 20 minutes

It is the Cherry season, lets make something fun.  This Puff Pastry Cherry tartlets recipe is delicious and easy to make. These tartlets are  like mini cherry pies with flaky  puff pastry crust and juicy cherries


  • 1 package  puff pastry (10 squares)
  • 2 cups cherries pitted and halved
  • 6 oz cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  •  tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoon apricot jam +2 tablespoon of water
  • 1 egg
  • mint leaves to decorate


  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F (200c). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Cut cherries in half, remove the pits .
  3.  In the bowl stir together cherries, vanilla, sugar and  cornstarch.

4.Mx cream cheese with honey

5.Place puff pastry squares on the baking tray with parchment paper. Add 1 tbsp cheese mixture in the middle of squares

6.Divide the cherry mixture evenly between the puff pastry pieces. Pull the edges up and crimp into a rough circle egg wash. Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden. remove from the oven .

        7.Whisk together the apricot jam and 2 tablespoon of water. When the tarts have finished baking, drizzle the jam over the top of fruit filling. Serve
