Smoked Salmon in puff pastry cup

Prep time 20 minutes, baking time 10 minutes, serves 8 people

Smoked Salmon appetizer is a nice  for cocktail party  and  for entertaining your family and friends.

Ingredients

  • 1 package puff pastry, thawed
  • 6 oz cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 8 oz smoked salmon
  • 1 small red onion
  • 1 cucumber
  • dill
  • 1 egg
  • 1 lemon
  • salt , pepper

Instruction

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 Degree
  2. Lay thawed puff pastry on a floured surface to smooth out the creases. Cut the puff pastry into circles, using a 1 1/2″ or 2″ round cookie cuter . Pierce the center all over with a fork. Space the circles an inch apart on parchment pepper, place another circle strip on top  brush with egg wash. Bake until evenly browned, rotating the tray once halfway through, about 10-12 minutes. Let the pastry cool before filling.

         

 

3.Stir the room temperature cream cheese with sour cream until evenly mixed. Season to taste with  salt and pepper

4.Pipe the cream cheese filling into the center of each puff pastry bite . Slice the salmon into thin strips and roll into a loose rose or spiral. Place the salmon spiral on top of the cream cheese. Garnish the bites with additional lemon  pieces, fresh dill, and sliced red onion, and cucumber. Enjoy!
